What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. We also use similar browser storage. This policy covers both.
Strictly Necessary
These keep Viszy working and secure, and are set without asking:
- Sign-in and session cookies that keep you logged in and protect your account
- Security cookies that protect forms and requests
viszy_guest(24 hours): a random id that ties your one free try, made before you sign up, to your browser so you can get the result back and save it. It is sent only to the free-try routes- Your preferences, such as theme
cookie-consent-id: a random id that links your cookie choice to its record
Analytics (only if you accept)
- Google Analytics cookies, which measure how the site is used
viszy_attribution(first party, 30 days): the campaign tags and referral id of the link that first brought you, so a referrer can be credited if you sign up- Error reports from your browser to Sylphx Observability, our own error service
Viszy does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your Choice
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the site footer, which reopens the question showing your current choice; changing it takes effect at once, and withdrawing consent stops the analytics and deletes the analytics cookies Viszy set. You can also block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop Viszy from working.
When you accept or reject, we keep a record of your choice as evidence of it: the choice, this policy's version, the time, and the random id stored on your device (cookie-consent-id). If you are signed in, the record also carries your account and is deleted with it.

Updates to This Policy
We may update this policy. We post the new version here with a new date, and ask again before setting any new kind of non-essential cookie.
